Hello, my name is Leah Hansen and I am 11 years old. I live in Gillette, New Jersey, right around the corner from Grace! It's a great town and Grace is an awesome friend. I had a spinal cord stroke 10 days before my 9th birthday, and spent 3 months in the hospital teaching my body to move again. I am still continuing to get stronger.

In my free time, I like to ride my bike and go on hikes. In the fall I play Field Hockey (with Grace!) on the team in town. I wanted to be on the WITH Grace Kids Committee because Grace and I were in the hospital at the same time and I know how difficult having a serious health condition can be. Also, me and Grace have been friends for many years and when she had cancer, I wanted to support her in any way I could. I am looking forward to exploring all of the ways we can help kids and family battling cancer WITH Grace!
